~ Our partner: Wines of the World ~

David Rodriguez, creator of World Wines, owner of DaVino Mundo Ltd.

For me, wine has always been more than just a drink: it is a feeling, a story, a culture. That is why I fell in love with Georgia, where wine is part of everyday life and guests are truly considered a gift from God. After my first trip, I knew that this would be more than just an experience: it would be a relationship that would last forever. Georgia's wine culture inspired the creation of the Világ borai (Wines of the World) brand, the first step of which was to distribute Georgian wines in Hungary. Later, due to my half-Peruvian heritage, it was natural for me to bring the wines of my homeland here as well—today, I am the only importer of Peruvian wines to Hungary. Wine is a way of life for me. I organize wine tastings and events where I present not only wines, but also stories and cultures. „I bring wines not for wine drinkers, but for wine lovers.”

The significant temperature difference between day and night, the intense sunlight, and the purity of the air make the Valle de Santa Ana region an exceptional area for grape cultivation. Harsányi Winery

The Harsányi vineyards are located in the northeastern part of Tokaj-Hegyalja, near the historic town of Sárospatak. The estate is composed of four main hillside vineyards (dűlő): Ciróka, Királyhegy, Megyer, and Kútpatka. Together, these four dűlők form a south-facing valley that acts as a natural amphitheatre. At the heart of the estate lies the six-hectare Ciróka dűlő, which has been in the Harsányi family’s possession since 1877. Today, the estate includes twenty hectares under vine, with an additional four hectares available for future vineyard development. The surrounding forest acts as a natural air conditioner, channelling a steady airflow from the hilltops. This ventilation is especially crucial during the hottest summer days, as it reduces heat absorption on the south-facing slopes and supports the development of ideal ripeness and acidity. Our wines are known for their steely acidity and elegant body. They also express the classic flinty minerality that defines the benchmark style of the Tokaj Foothills. Organic methods have guided our viticulture from the very beginning, and we continue to evolve by implementing new, sustainable practices to enhance our mindful approach to winemaking and vineyard care. We believe deeply in the unique harmony between our terroir and the Furmint grape, in the heritage passed down from our ancestors, and in the innovative technologies that help us capture the varietal and site-specific character of our wines.
The heart of the estate is the six-hectare Ciróka vineyard, which has been owned by the Harsányi family since 1877. Today, we have 20 hectares of vineyards and another four hectares of vineyards for future plans. The surrounding forests act as a natural air-conditioner, providing a steady air circulation from the hilltop, which relieves the heat even on the hottest summer days. Our wines are known for their steely acidity, elegant body and classic lees minerality typical of the Tokaj wine region. Our grapes have been organically farmed from the beginning and we are constantly looking for new ways to develop sustainably.
